No...... not ashame at all. I've been ripped off plenty of time........ I am sure that all that respond to this thread have done the same thing in there life time. Just looking at your occupation, I can see that you would even steal from your own mommy..... Answer me this. If Pet Smart can afford to give a bucket of salt for $36.00, than why do they have it on the shelf for $52.00. If I never new about them price matching, I would had walked in there and payed the $52.00. I bet that the cashier would had stop me and say "SIR YOU OVER PAYED. HERE IS YOUR MONEY BACK". I wounder how many people payed $52.00 for a bucket of salt. NOW YOU TELL ME WHO IS GETTING RIPPED OFF. They should put the salt at $32.00 from the begening.

Shipping! It is my understanding that the price match is supposed to be online price plus shipping. Maybe not who knows.
But to knowingly take advantage of anyone for your own profit is wrong. Especially if you plan to do it over and over.

Just becasue you have been stolen from does not make it right, what a lame excuse. Sure, I will admit, in the past I would have been happy to get the deal and not thought twice about it. However we live and learn and grow as people, I just hope you wise up and realize what comes around goes around.

Well guess whos door its knocking on, "Pet Smarts". They shouldn't be ripping people off charging $52.00 for a salt, knowing that they can charge $32.00. They would not think twice on changing the price cause they know that people go in there and pay for it. I don't see anyone crying for those people.

My occupation says pee on, you have no idea what I do. And what makes you think I would steal from my mom because my job title says pee on, this is just too funny. I make good money the only reason I wrote pee on is because I work for a company. I do not steal nor would I ever think of stealing from my mom, that is just a very stupid comment. And before I read such a stupid comment I was going to issue a appalogy becuase it is somewhat hipacritical of me to call names, because yes I have stole when I was younger, I will not deny it, am I proud of it? NO. I havnt stole anything in a very long time it was just somthing I did when I was about 12, but no I'm not a thief nor would I ever go back to stealing ever agian. When I am given extra change I give it back, when I'm charged less I say so and fix. The reason its higher in store is because there paying for the store so yes things cost more, there not ripping anybody body off there just in buisness and because you think you pay more doesnt mean your getting ripped off. But you should take it back and not do it again, your not just hurting petsmart your hurting all of us who shop there. No I'm not trying to instagte things I just think its wrong, I have made mistakes before and I'm not proud of them if I could go back I would make it right even if I pay more on something I atleast know I did the right thing. Dont tell me what I would do I know what I have done and yes everytime I got more money back than I should have I gave it back. I'm by no means a saint I have done alot wrong but I'm no thief, like rich said you live you learn, and thats just what I have done I made mistakes and now I try to better myself. Dont you understrand that to run a store it cost more in employies, electric, rent, taxes that they have to charge more to keep it going. The reason they match online prices is because its buisness 101 make no money or make a little money. There not trying to rip you off there just trying to keep the store in buisness.

Why does it cost $16 mor in the store, overhead and shipping. If you want the ocnvenience to get osomething off the shelf, you pay for it. basic economics, it sounds like you are new to a few important concepts in life like morals, ethics and basis business sense.
It is thinking like yours(super and ricwilli) that put Enron under and lost retirement for thousands, but hey what is the big deal, I am sure they were stolen from sometime in their, whats the big deal they had every right to streal from the corportion and lye about it.

Oh wait, they are in jail! Odd, our entire society believes stealing is wrong and has written law around it, but it is ok to you if it saves you a buck and lets you "stick it to the man".

How about putting a BIG sign in front of the store saying "BIG SALE ON SALT. ONLY $36.00" I garentee you that all the salt would be gone in days. Matter a fact.... they advertise it here in Reef Central. I know it cost to advertise but they will make profit in selling by QUANTITY. If it cost more to run a store than don't price match at all. I wounder how you feel about the internet buisness? Are you complaining to them cause there price is so low. They are closing mom and pop stores all around the world. Why don't you and rstark33 stop purchasing stuff online and go support those who are barely making a profit cause of these internet stores.
