What my Ocey wants my Ocey gets

Hey all,

So I've just seen a very interesting situation. My maroon clown moved from my Sebae (Crispa) anemone to my BTA when I first added it. Anyway, I recently added an Oce that's a tiny bit bigger than the maroon and all was well (hoping the Oce would go into the Crispa at some point). So tonight I look at the BTA and what do you know... the Oce chased the maroon out of the BTA and took it over for him/herself!!! I couldn't believe that it chased the maroon away... so I came back a bit later to find... they are BOTH in it... I never knew a maroon+Oce would share an anemone!! I don't think the situation will last long but it's quite the sight

I'm thinking of trying to catch the maroon to stop the fighting and release him back near the sebae because I know he will go into it like before.

Just an update (a sad one)

Now the Oce is just chasing the maroon around the tank. The oce has been in both anemones throughout the day today but isn't staying in either one. Just now I saw BOTH OCE team up on the maroon clown (the other Oce is quite a bit smaller than the maroon). It's weird to see them working together like that since they're not a pair.

I'm hoping they'll pick an anemone and stick to it!

ocellaris can pair with maroons, they may be fighting for male/ female
