What pellet food do you feed?

+1 on the NLS. I mix the small pellets and medium together. I've even gotten my anthias to eat them.

Great product. I get mine from Amazon.

I tend to feed equal amounts of NLS and Formula One pellets, both in the small 1mm size (as I have no large fish), and I occasionally throw in some Hikari pellets (both the Marine S and Seaweed Extreme), but I also feed lots of various frozen foods as well (mysis, enriched brine, krill, plankton) - variety is usually a good thing... :)

Initially Hikkari Marin S pellets where the favorite food of my fridmani and percula. I stopped feeding pellets to force the percula to eat Mysis which they simply refused to eat.

When I now try to feed my fish pellets they just look confused, especially the regal angels. And the percula refuse to leave their gigantea even for food - it has to drift over or into the anemone for them to even consider it :headwally:
I guess I spoiled them too much with frozen Mysis, Cyclops, Reef plankton, Oyster and R.O.E. Brine shrimp is something I feed very rarely now as it is not a very good food to begin with and also contains too much copper.

Another reason why I stopped feeding pellets is that I have a few fish who will likely never eat them.

I guess I need to start feeding more pellets again to get them used to it or I will never be able to leave the house for more than e day or two.

I stopped feeding pellets because they sink so fast the fish can't catch them.

I loved IO Omnivore sinking pellets because they sink slow. I cannot find them anywhere now. :headwalls: I now use Formula One but they sink faster than I want. I have use NLS after these are gone.

I do a mix of NLS 1 mm and Hikari Marine Seaweed Extreme sinking twice a day. Fish go nuts for both. Once the pellets get caught in the current and swirl around the tank the fish dart all over catching them. I also use a variety of frozen and nori as well.

Do a google search for "Olestra" or go to the Wikipedia page. That is what you are feeding your fish. Ingredients
Dried Seaweed Meal, Wheat Flour, Fish Meal, Krill Meal, Cuttlefish Meal, DHA Oil, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Sucrose Polyesters,

I had been feeding NLS but switched to Sustainable Aquatics Dry Hatchery Diet .8 and 1.2mm pellets twice a day for the anthias.

I also feed frozen once a day.

NLS marine/NLS algaemax mix 4x a day via apex auto feeder, 1-2+ feedings of some meaty foods, and a sheet of LRS algae sheet a day.

I use NLS, but I found they do not sink right away coming from my Auto Feeder. So they stay floating and float right into my overflows.
