What qualifies as mis-bar clown?

I've done a little research, but nothing that i've found gives me a good explanation of what actually qualifies as a "mis-bar" clown. For example, a black and white clown that has 3 complete white stripes on one side of the body and only 2 stripes on the other. Is this considered a mis-bar or something else? My daughter also wanted me to find out if clownfish are orange with white stripes or white with orange stripes LOL. She hasn't watched Madagascar lately so I don't know where that came from.

A mis-bar is a clownfish without complete bars. Your example would be a mis-bar.

The white portion of clowns are considered the bars.

Thanks for the clarification! I saw one that had 3 complete white stripes on one side of the body and only 2 white stripes on the other side. I wasn't sure if mis-bar was only an incomplete bar or totally missing a bar.

I think I may go buy him and findd out if they will hold it for another week or so. He doesn't cost anymore than the other black and whites and he's a different little fish.
