What should I do?

I have a 5 gallon minibow with an ecosystem 40 hanging (from my previous tank) on the back for some extra gallons. I want to grow some sps and will upgrade my compact lighting. I will go with an easy to install 40 watt t5ho (1X20 watt actinic and 1x20 watt 10k) or....the 70 watt diy retrofit MH. I really don't think the 70watt mh would be worth it on such a small tank plus the evap would be higher. Any suggestions?

Basically I am wondering who uses T5HO only to grow sps and how its working out. Thanks!

I am using T5 exclusively now for my SPS tank.

My growth seems to be the same as when I had MH.

What kind of ratio do you have. Watts per gallon? With the light Im looking at it would be 8 watts per gallon. Thanks
