What should the voltage be at 30% on a 6105 powerhead?

I just bought a Tunze 6105 powerhead that I am controlling with a Reef Angel controller. I understand that you should run the 6105 between 30% and 100% but since I do not have a Tunze controller to measure the voltage output at 30% so I am not sure where to set the Reef Angel to provide the same voltage as the 30% low point.

Roger can you provide this information? I am running the 18 volt jumper if that makes any difference. Also is it safe (good practice) to allow the propeller to come to a complete stop, if I am programming the 6105 to ramp from 30% to 100%. In other words, will allowing the propeller to come to a complete stop cause damage or premature wear on the powerhead?

Thanks,
John

The only information I have pertaining to this is that the setting is between 0-8.5V.

Thanks for the information Roger.

0 to 8.5 volts implies that I could stop the powerhead between pulses. I thought I read in a different thread that letting the propeller come to a complete stop between pulses might cause damage or premature wear to the 6105.

Roger,
I am still trying to calibrate my Reef Angel controller to operate my Tunze 6105 in the Tunze suggested range so I don't damage my 6105. I took some measurements with a voltmeter of the output of the Reef Angel control port used to control the Tunze. At the 100% setting it outputs 15.8 vdc, at 75% it outputs 11.5 vdc, at 50% it outputs 7.5 vdc, at 30% it outputs 4.4 vdc, at 25% it outputs 3.5 vdc and at 0% it outputs 0 vdc. My question is how much DC voltage does a Tunze controller output at its 30% setting and at its 100% setting? I need this information so that I can program and calibrate the Reef Angel controller to operate within the same DC voltage range to make sure I do not damage my Tunze 6105.

Thanks for your assistance,
John

On the Profilux controllers we set the voltages between 3 and 8 volts. As far as I remember that is almost identical to the Tunze controllers output.
