what skimmers do you like?

Ive changed my mind alot on skimmers lately and am totally confused now! Who would buy which skimmer in 250-300 range(shipped preferably) and why? Cant think of a better place to ask this question! It will be on a moderately stocked 90 gallon tank but room to breathe would be nice.

i'm considering buying the asm g3 skimmer. seems like ppl like it and it can handle a good bit. i've been running used and put together skimmers since i set up my tank, finally decided to just go buy a nice, new skimmer

i have a g2 with the upgraded to a sedra 5000 instead of the 3000 also it has the mesh mod as well. works great got it used for cheap.

I have an asm g3 in my 150 and have never had a bit of trouble with it. Also have g2 in my 90 no problems, and g1x in my frag tank. For the money very happy.

I have a g3 on my 54. Seems to be quite a few of you guys with them also. Got mine used for 75 bucks. Best 75 bucks I've spent in this hobby.

I looked there but the smallest they have listed is the 200 which is probably ok as far as overkill, but I cant fit that in my sump. how about super octo reef 1000? what ur take on it?

I have an ASM G2 on my 120. Works well and I haven't done any mods to it yet. The only issue that I had was that the cup cover was hard to remove. I put some vasoline on the plastic lip which solved the problem.
