What the heck is this thing?

Just found this on my front glass. Never seen it before. Not sure if its a good guy or bad guy. The upper body tends to move with the water so it doesn't look like its rigid. Maybe a snail of some sort?

That's awesome. Anything special I need to do to take care of it? I always can count on this group of experts with my questions

What color is it?
What type of flow do you have it under?
What type of light do you have it under?

They tend to move when they first arrive or high flow/low light.

Its slightly red/green and its foot is pinkish. My lights are in my sig and I have 2 k3s, mj 1200 in the tank

I introduced Stichodactyla tapetum to the reefkeeping community at large.

Ron Shimek and Eric Borneman couldn't identifying the specimens I sent them although they got close with their Phymanthus guess.
It was Julian Sprung that finally and correctly identified these for me.
Shortly thereafter I started propping them (but I don't do it anymore).

How did you introduce them? Were you the first to collect them?
