What to add 1st - inverts or Qt'd fish?

So here I am days away from starting to cycle my tank with live sand and acid washed dried rock and I am at a crossroads. I have been through just about every thread as far as ich, velvet and all of the other nasty things that can crash a tank. So here it goes.
Should I QT my fish after TTM then add them into my tank (yes, weeks or many weeks away) after the tank has cycled and has been established while my inverts are doing their own 72 day QT?
Or should I do it the opposite way and add the inverts pretty much right after the cycle and go fallow for 72 days while my fish are in QT.
Right now I have no inverts and no fish.
I am trying to go slow and establish a sound system from the get go.
This is a new setup. I have a 120 long DT with a 75 gallon sump/fuge. I have another tank (55 gallon) that I plan on using as a HT that I can put the inverts or fish in for 72 days. I plan on getting (2) 10 gallon tanks and all the trimmings to use as my Qt tanks for TTM. Any and all thoughts are helpful.

From the get go, I'm just getting started and am still working out details for my tank which is just like your set up. What I am reading is its the TTM is first for 12 days, then QT fish for 6 to 7 weeks. If you want to QT inverts why not just do that while you QT the fish and are cycling your tank at the sametime and everything goes in after the tank matures some?

I did the inverts first because I got my LR used and wanted to QT it, too. So the fish waited until after 72 days.

That's my thought too. Was just wondering if that is the norm (which doesn't necessarily make it better) or if inverts 2nd has worked better for others.

I did corals, fish, then inverts but I'm pretty sure you can merge or flip fish and inverts. This was recommended by my LFS. The owner is a hobbyist so I trust them

It depends, if source where you are getting them from keeps the inverts in the same tank with their fish, then you can put the inverts in first into the DT and wait at least 72 days before adding fish. This is because they will have a chance of bringing in a disease. My LFS keeps corals and inverts in their own tanks, no fish, so I am lucky enough just to dip the corals and rinse the inverts put them straight into the tank. If you purchase inverts after fish are in the DT, I would quarantine them for at least 72 days before adding to DT.

My preferred method is to let the cuc live in the tank 4 weeks before adding fish. The invert's tiny biological activity keeps the sandbed going and feeding them (as you generally must) also helps. You can even add a few corals and get those going before fish if you want to.

So it is unanimous. Inverts 1st, fish after. That was my thoughts but was curious if others with the experience felt otherwise. Thanks all!
I'm so paranoid about these diseases my 16 year old son had a white dot (pimple) on his face and I wanted to TTM the kid!! :uhoh3:
