what to do with Clown eggs?

Well,

my clown pair has again eaten a whole region of hairy mushrooms to make room for their eggs; dozens of pink eggs are in a 2x2 inch area of hidden rock.

This time I am thinking: isn't there some way of taking the eggs, protect them and rear them?

do any of you have any experience?

Rainer,

I believe Linda has been seriously looking into this and even trying to cultavate her own rotifier cultures to make it happen..

I'm sure she will chime in :)

Rainer,

Read the Joyce Wilkerson book - Clownfishes. She goes through the whole process step by step. It is fascinating. Mine keep laying - but I just have not been in a position to give it a go yet.

I have it and will be in town this weekend if you want to borrow it.

Wow!

I don't think I want that many :) Thanks for the link - awesome shots!

I have been reading about rearing them, and, I have to agree with Bebo - much more work than I am willing to do! I was going to simply place some of the eggs into my fuge, but, I am sure the Hermits I have in there will love to eat them, not to mention worms, etc.

Oh well, they do look kinda pretty! In the end, they will be great fish food!

I have been taking the 'coral/fish' food option for a couple years now. I agree - a little more work than I really want to do right now.
