Ok, I finally had to cut my cheato for the first time, its tripled in size and some of it was turning almost brown. So my question is, what do you guys usually do with the good cheato you cut off? I have a mandarine dragonet that would love to scarf down all the pods in it before I give it a toss, but how can I do it without leaving the chunk in the tank? I tried to just shake it in front of the powerhead, but that only shot cheato all over the tank and its stuck in all the intake screens. Is there a method you guys use, or do you just chunk it in that trash alowing all the inhabitants to die a horrible death?
