What to feed a haddon carpet

Hi all. About a month ago I got a sick haddon carpet. I am happy to report that it has survived the first month so far .... Don't want to jinx it. The issue I have now is what to feed. I have tried to spot feed raw shrimp and raw fish to no avail. It wont take it just lets it go I am giving her plenty of light and I have been feeding roe and frozen brine so maybe it's eating without me knowing. Any ideas?? Don't want her to starve.

Uhm, if it's not sticky it is most likely still sick. A healthy Haddoni will eat just about anything that happens to land on its disc. Not just that, they are also among the stickiest species out there. So if you say you are spot feeding and it is not eating, that's the first sign something is not right. I feed mine once every 2 weeks, because I don't want it to get any bigger, as it already decimated my snail population. I think you should post more info about it, perhaps a photo or 2 might help you get better advice. I wouldn't worry about it starving to death, especially since you had it just for a month.

Feed him a seafood mix from local grocery store.

I actually fed her a piece of fresh rockfish last night and this morning and she ate for the first time. Finally. Maybe she is just a snob. Lol. It was about the size of the cut up fish in the picture above. How much should I feed? One piece like that each week or more?

I was going to pick up some seafood mix yesterday but some of the ingredients were already blanched? Is this Ok?

Yea, that's fine. I've used the seafood medley for over 10 yrs & never had a problem. Just stay away from feeding it silversides. There's plenty threads on here of nems dying after eating silversides.

They usually boiled clams and mussels due to the higher possibility of them get spoiled. Sterilized them so to speak. My anemones ate cooked clams and mussels fine without problem.

One small piece a week like in that photo is fine. If you feed it say 3 times a week, it will grow large FAST. So, depending on your tank size it could be fine, or it could overgrow it in less than a year. Also, the larger it grows the higher the likelihood it will capture hapless fish
