What to feed an anemone???

Hello all, What do you feed your anemone(s)?

What type of food?
What brand?(If we are aloud to post that)
How often?

I feed the tank every day, but I hand feed the anemone every other day.
I use krill and uncooked shrimp.

I already typed this all out and then accidentally closed the window, so I will try to make it short. Heres the deal. I have an anemone that had a downfall but it is doing much better now. I also have a yellow stripe maroon pair that wouldent go near it before. Now they love it. But it isnt big enought for both of them. And there are still days it doesnt look so great.

So basically I am trying to get the anemone to be as healthy and happy as possible so the clowns are happy!

sounds good to me, but i would only feed him about once a week. i feed mine silversides because they are the easiest for me to get and mine loves them, but what you are feeding is perfect.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to feed (at least) two to three times a week. I assume you are feeding the C. gigantea in that pic, correct? If so, then some fish and crustacean based meaty foods would be excellent choices.

I am a bit comfused. That species name was not familiar to me so I googled it.

irmee4: how many silversides do you feed the BTA???

I have one that is about 6 inches across and feed him 1 - 2 silversides a day . . . over here in australia i think theyare referred to as white bait . . . is this too much do you think or not near enough . . . the anemone is about as big as my fist when fully opened . . .

i feed about one or two twice a week. i just have to make sure he eats them before my clown steals them!!

i feed mine cockles every 2/3 days but have to watch my clowns as they try to take it out!!!! aslo the cleaner shrimp is always there ready for any that drop...

My cleaners have been, Making it almost impossible for the anemone to eat! I have to shew them away!

i just place water into a cup and put primereef flakes and suck it up w/a turkey baster and squirt it into my anemone. Seems to like it.
