What to feed Sailfin Tang

This one insists on only eating algae that grows in the tank and some portions of Reef Freenzy. I keep putting Julian Spring's Green Seaweed on a clip in the tank, but it never touches it.

Any suggestions?

I've tried a lot of seaweeds and mine all seem to like this one the most.

Also Hikari spirulina may spark his interest as far as frozens

Try the Ocean Nutrition brand and see how that works. Also try rubberbanding a piece of Nori to a rock. It seems a little more natural to the fish. That's how I got my Tangs started.

Well my Big Bertha eats anything. you put your finger in the tank she will try and eat it. I feed neptune crossover and multi types of frozen and dried seaweed

How long have you had it? They can be finicky at first, but should get used to most aquarium foods. Mine eats anything.

In the tank 10 days now. Eats the meaty morsels found in Reef Frenzy, just doesn't take to the seaweed on a clip. Hopefully the purple one will entice him to take a bite.

He will eat the seaweed on the clip just give it time. most likely he will become a bully with the seaweed

Frankly, I wouldn't be concerned. Mine didn't eat a thing for the first two weeks. That yours is eating meaty morsels is a good sign.
