what's quieter? iwaki 30rlxt vs sequence dart

the fanless iwaki or dart?

I've never used the Iwaki but the Dart is almost silent. I love mine.

i have both a sequence dart and an iswaki rlt 30 and the sequence is by far the quietest pump you will ever own. plus they are easer on you pocket book to run. if you buy the dart you would never go back to the mag drive pumps again. i have to put my hand on the dart to make sure its still running. the iswaki i can hear across the room. and i swiched the one iswaki out for another iswaki to see if i could make it quieter. didnt work. same level of noise.

I can't even hear my dart. I've never owned an iwasaki, but been to peoples' houses who have had them and could hear the pump as soon as I got in the near vicinity of their tank/sump area.

I have an MD-30RLXT and a Sequence 1000 series 1/8hp. Not a dart I know, but the Sequence is definitely louder (but still relatively quiet).

The fanless iwakis and panworld equivalents are just as quiet as a dart IMO. They are also considerably smaller and easier to plumb (smaller caliber plumbing needed). Course they also flow a whole lot less water.
