What kind of snail do you guys recomend for a sps tank? i got a little brown algae problem...

I don't think anyone could ever give you ONE snail that can do it all. I like a variety of different animals. I have Astrea, Turbo, Nassaurius, Cerith, Strombus, and Stomatella snails. Stomatella and some Strombus snails are great because they will reproduce in your tank and eventually match the amount of algae available. I also have become a big fan of Diadema longspine urchins in the last few years, especially in SPS tanks. They will mow down any hair or turf algae like mad, and they are completely safe with corals.

In my opinion - there isn't a "best" snail. It's a matter of getting a combination of different types of snails. For example, nassarius are great for for stirring the sandbed but are absolutely worthless for keeping rocks and glass clean. Nerite seem to do a great job on rocks, but I haven't seen mine on my glass at all. So it's not a matter of getting one type of snails - but getting a combination of different type of snails.
