what's the culprit

Everytime I put zoas on the rocks they have been getting eatten by something n my tank. I am thinking it might be my powder blue tang because I saw it nip at one of the zoas I had put in but I am never looking when most of them end up disappearing. It isn't just zoas though, also my small frag of clove polyps disappeared, I'm sure by the same culprit. The zoas are disappearing the same day or night I put them in so I'm pretty sure it has to be one of the fish or other larger animals in the tank. Again so far the only thing I seen nip at them is the powder blue tang, Is it possibly doing it just because of it being something new in the tank and it is agressive fish so doesn't want anything else introduced or is it possible it has taken a liking to eatting zoas (maybe not feeding it enough or something). I don't think it is a small organism affecting the zoas because I have some zoas under eggcrate in the tank and they are all doing great, but once out in the open the get eatten or something. Any advise? I wish I could just sit and stare at the tank to find out for sure what is causing the problem, however that is impossible. The fact that they sometimes disappear during the day makes me think it has to be a fish caus most of the other animals such as crabs ect don't come ou on the rocks til at night.

They may like those too for all I know. Knock on wood I've never had them. That I know of anyway, maybe one of my fish like them. There are some dragonettes that seem to eat them.

I placed a new zoa frag in the tank and I am positive it is the powder blue tang, not long after putting it in I saw the tank start to bite them and within a few seconds it was gone, i didn't pay attention on if it actually ate them or just tore them of the plug. Anyone want to buy a powder blue tang?
