What's the current market price for a Zebrasoma rostratum (Black Tang)?

Mostly adults? You're wrong again.. i haven't gotten an adult in years.. only 1-5" ones.

you are 100% wrong from getting directly from CXI. Hawaii - absolutely, but not CXI.

they are not found deep. whoever is telling you this is lying to make them seem harder to get, when the obvious reason of them being hard to find should have sufficed.

You obviously are to stubborn to accept the fact that 8 years of importing from CXI, i might know more than you when you are from New Jersey. But apparently my first hand experience doesn't mean much, even though i know all the exporters, and the divers by name... lol

And at 100 feet, the water is not dark at all... You clearly are just regurgitating what you heard somewhere along way. 100 feet - the water is clear and visible, not dark to "camouflage" them.

You can PM me the name of "diver" so no one will know where to buy black tangs from directly. lol

Interesting Tang. I like the long nose. Not my kind of tang though, I'd rather have a yellow tang instead.

Eye of the beholder etc.

I have an acquaintance that bought 2 BT for 375 each, the at cost price of the LFS. The LFS sold it for no profit to gain business from the guy. One later died of ich.

I hardly frequent there, so I doubt he would give me such a deal.

The BT looks really B.A young, but as a huge adult fish, not so much. JMO from looking at a huge ~7" BT at the LFS.
