What's this on my Naso?

I recently added a Naso to my tank (on Friday). This Sunday, I noticed this spot on him. Doesn't seem to be getting worse, but doesn't seem any better. He's swimming around and eating just fine. Any ideas what this might be? Haven't see him fighting with any other fish. The spot is probably the size of an eraser head, white ring on the outside, slightly raised...

It appears to be some sort of ulceration, but the raised appearance is very odd. Hopefully, MrTuskfish or Steve can provide comment.

The Naso appears to have the starting of HLLE. You may want to consider supplementation on its diet, Selcon, some vitamins, etc. I have had a lot of success with plenty of greens (nori) and a variety of frozen and dried foods soaked in Selcon.

What is its current diet like?

It kind of looks like saprolegnia but too well defined. Does it have a cotton appearance. Is there central ulceration. I admit it is odd. Looks stuck on in the photo. If you can do a scraping or feel comfortable doing a biopsy Pm me. I'll walk you through it.

Your yellow also appears to have defined red patches on its fins and body. Is it optics, or does the YT have something too? Last, could the naso's lesion be a suction blister from a pump intake?

Do you think it could be a spine wound from a sassy tank mate (like that yellow tang), and the surrounding tissue is inflammation and depigmentation from a central puncture? Have you noticed them sassing each other?

So, haven't seen any of them fighting at all. They're getting along amazingly well. I've got 3 tangs in the tank (Powder Blue, Naso, and Yellow). Haven't once seen a tail flaping or any aggression whatsoever.

The red on the Yellow tang is from the camera. That's not there in person...Dang cell phone cameras haha.

The spot seems to be kind of scabbing over today, with a little peeling at the edge. Looks like maybe it is an injury of some sort, just not sure what. I assume it's possible one of the other tangs poked him when I wasn't looking :) But, he still seems healthy and happy and eating...so I'll continue to watch to see if it improves. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse.

Do you have BTAs, torch, hammer, or frogspawn corals? I'm thinking the lesion is possibly a sting.

I'm not that good with pics; but do you think this could be a separate critter? Possibly an isopod, there are countless varieties? Its depth and symmetry make me think so. if so, just take it off with a tweezers and dab a bit of iodine if it leaves a sore.

Nothing in the tank that could sting it. Doesn't really look like its something attached either. Almost reminds me of ringworm on a fish haha
