whats unique about your reef

Live stock......thats not "supposed" to work but does. I have 2 one spot fox faces and a 9 inch orange spot rabbit fish that literally swim and play together like a mated pair of clowns. I have a 2 year old imperator angel that doesnt toch corals. I am lucky I guess because I have a reefer friend that saw my to fox faces and wanted to try it. He tried adding one it got killed by the established one. He traded the established one for two younger ones ......the smaller of the two was killed within 2 days. He gave up.

my corals are growing on acrylic in a glass tank. the live rock is in another tank so when you see the corals it looks nothing like a reef

I kept a mahi mahi in my piano tank.. That's just the beginning of why my tank is different.. I'll post a new reason on every page of this thread,,lol.. Seriously..

my hippo hosts with the clowns and schools with the yellowtang

Host with clowns that seem strange
I once had 3 royal gramma in a 90 gallon for many years, lost them when i moved.
I tried to get that combination and was unable to keep even 2 together. One always harassed the other until death.

My returns go over the back, down under the sand, and come out behind some rocks in the front giving the tank a bottom to top flow I never see in other tanks. At the top of the over the back part there is a siphon break in the form of a ball valved locline.

To me the thing that makes it special is that I built it from scratch with my own hands. Tank and reflectors included. The whole thing is DIY except the skimmers.
