They make some boat parts like that like the deck but the wood core is marine plywood which will hold up even when wet. The glues used in marine plywood may be detrimental to aquarium marine life.

It may only be bad if it is in constant contact with an enclosed body of water like a tank.
Most parts of a boat are toxic to a fish tank. The bottom paint is composed of copper to dissuade barnacles from sticking and the outdrives are aluminum also painted with paint which is detrimental to aquatic life.
But on my boat there is plenty of Vodka that I could use to dose the ocean if the boat sank.

I have some amazing looking corals and tons of mushrooms, but can't get zoanthids to grow for #$%^.

I've been having trouble getting ricordia to stay alive although ricordia yuma seem to be no problem.
a few years ago i could buy a whole good size ricordia rock for about $30 now they want $15 per head. When i do get them i expect them to live long and prosper.
