what's wrong with my fish?

I bought this trigger about 2 weeks ago. I haven't seen it eat anything yet. Tried mysis, bloodworms, grocery store oyster, scallop, shrimp, thera +a.

And on top of it all, it started developing those white spots right after I purchased him. The other triggers from the same shipment at the LFS look perfectly normal. I thought it might have gotten beat up by something, but all I have is an emerald crab, a pair of clowns, a foxface and a sixline wrasse. His behaviour seems semi-normal. either cruising along the glass of the tank when no one's near the tank, or hiding in the back of the rockwork when it's stressed.

Please help if you can. All the other fishes are doing great and my params are spot on. ie, my SPS are thriving

I recently bought one also and he didn't eat for two weeks. I didn't even see him the first week. They are very shy until they're fully acclimated. Mine acts like he own the tank now

I was thinking that about the eating thing, I`m still hoping it'll snap out of it soon. He seems to have relaxed a little bit recently.

But it still doesn't explain the white spots, those worry me. He was such a beautiful specimen when I purchased him...

Are you talking about the white spots all the down its body? If so, that is hot the Blue Throats look or at least the ones that I have seen. Mine had them when I got him 18 months ago and they have not changed.

I do leave some nori in the tank, which disappears rather quickly, but I have no proof of him eating it (foxface loves the stuff)

As for the white spots, no I'm speaking about white spots that look like lesions, if you look on the chin in the pictures(2nd pic around the mouth), they're easier to see because of the contrast. Those are not spots on the glass, the fish has those all over his body. I check the diseases databases and I could't find anything that looks like that

crazy, i got a humu trigger about 3 weeks ago. as soon as i put him in the tank after acclimating him he devoured krill like nothing. he eats everything i throw at him now.

Was it eating when you bought it? I never buy a fish without seeing it eat. Also, did you QT the fish to help it start eating or just put iut into the main display?

It could still be just stress. You can put some selcon in the water directly without hurting anything to boost the vitamins in the fish. Also, try it on the Nori.
