I have a large wall hammer that I have had for about 3 months and up until about 2 days ago it has been doing very well. The bottom portion is dead but I can't figure out why or why it happened so quick. I haven't changed anything.
yeah you better get it now....if not it will take the whole thing out.......there is some stuff that seachem makes that works wonders...i will see if I can find it....
seachem stress guard...I had a lfs that gave me one that was 2/3rds gone.....talked to mark at bluezoo and he said try that...i did..just used a syringe and shot it right on the hammer inside the tank.....it took about 2 weeks for it to fully recover....the dead part won't come back but you can save the tissue that is still alive.....worked great for me....
Brown jelly is a protozoan. It usually gets a foothold in a wound eating damaged and necrotic tissue and keeps going into healthy tissue. Is anything nipping your euphylia anchora(hammer)?
Well I had a copper banded butterfly up unitil 3 or 4 days ago, but I had never seen him nip at it. My other livestock consists of a harliquin tusk, splendid dotty back, hippo tang, and a lawn mower blenny.
