Lubbock's is a fantastic fish, great color, relatively inexpensive, and easy to get feeding. I've brought in a few through the store I work at, and each one had a different color scheme. They were similar, but I've had one with more red, one with more blue, and everything in-between. Some may have been female I suppose, but nontheless an impressive fish.
Exquisite's are equally as impressive, yet they can be a bit costly depending on where they are from. I haven't had enough experience to back up the color-fading issue, though I have heard of it before. I have an African locale at my store, he's in a tank with a Solorensis and a Lubbock's was in there for a while as well. He's still sporting his gorgeous pink shoulders, so maybe the other wrasse does have something to do with it. Still an awesome fish, eats anything I throw in the tank, gets along with others, and overall a very personable fish. I'll be sad when he goes haha.
