Whatshouldiputthere?

No matter what you plan to keep in the tank, if you want girls to like the fish or corals you might want to think about moving the tank out of your parent's house.

LMAO! G only you would think of that one. HA. only a few more years after im done with school... the tank will be outta the rents house... and could possibly be much larger as well. (might also have little brother tanks as well)

anyway... i figured out the sand issue. One brain sold. New large meteorshower cyphastrea (about the same size) took its place :)

now off to arc. I have a feeling the void which im trying to fill will be filled via impulse purchase :/

no, no, no...he's got a SWEET orange torch...let's see it.

no torch. it was closed up when i put it in the tank. and lights arent on yet today

this instead. its huge. (the top disk is about 3 inches diameter)

Great looking montipora. I'm keeping my eyes peeled right now for something similar. I have an old skeleton of red planet I'm planning to try and get it to encrust on.

On a side note, I don't see any pics of frags plugs with little baby orange hammers on them yet in this new tank....... What's the deal with that!?!?! ;)

Thanks! Its actually a metorshower cyphastrea :) going with the LPS theme (though it may be considered an SPS not sure)

also... the largest baby hammer head (about the size of a pencil eraser now) is forming little orange hammers on its tentacles. now... if only it would grow some skeleton so i can cut it off.

Kat, I did get it yesterday from a friend

Nice! I guess I should have been tipped off by the fact that the polyps seem more elevated than an encrusting montipora. Anyhow, spectacular nonetheless. Good news about the baby hammer too!

lol G. "fun"

tankatm.jpg

well problem solved. also painted the back of the tank black (no more peninsula... i found myself looking at the "front" way more than the "back" anyway

but... now there are new bare spots :( never ends does it.

Thanks to ARC for the torch. i think once the torch gets bigger it will look better up where i have it.
