You know, I've seen much better locally with much less gadgetry.
I just don't think that increased technology necessarily equates to enhanced success. The more you have, the greater the chance that something can fail. I guess that you could say that I'm a believer in the K.I.S.S. philosophy (keep it simple, stupid).

"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler." - Albert Einstein

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo da Vinci

I don't know, its not very hidden and I would have tried to hide it a little better myself....but to have a stable system with that kind of volume, its probably all needed. Look at the size of the SPS in there.....that takes a little skill and brass ones to grow them that big in such a small tank.......

Wow... Four channel dosing pump AND a CA reactor. IF this is real. He definetely fell in love with the technical side of reef keeping. Perhaps he's experimenting with ways to 100% automate the tank. No water changes ect.... I would imagine he's got a whole different issue than tank maint....... Like constantly clipping back the corals. There's no room to grow!

Butthead: "that is the COOLEST Thing EVER! uh. huh huh huh. duh... "
Beavis: " YEAH!! WOW!!"

No but seriously, I like the wall art and floor coverings he has.

But moreover, how his power centers are lying on the floor some without drip loops just waiting for the whole thing to burn up.

Nonetheless, I agree there is a reason it is not covered or hidden. Impressive use of space that's for sure.
