When should my skimmer start skimming? LR added

I added my LR about 2 hours ago and I am wondering how long it takes a skimmer to actually start skimming the tank? Nothing is being taken up into the neck and nothing is in the collection cup. Please let me know. Thank you.

with your hands not being in the tank,u should get skimmate in 12 hours.
