I think I have lost the battle with the new haddoni. The question is now when to pull it out.Its inflating and deflating quit often, mouth is gapping badly and the innards are starting to protrude.I also witnessed what looked like smoke(i know its not smoke)possibly sperm or its just starting to disinagrate.

thoughts plz

IMO, I'd take it out. From your description it sounds like a goner. I wouldn't risk it dying in my tank and having it wipe it out.

Thnx for the link Todd.
The pictures u posted would have looked the same as mine, the nems almost looked the same. Judging from the clams and corals I got it out in time. Will do a wc tonight just for general purpose.THNX for all your help.Guess the search is on for a healthy haddoni, color wont even matter.Im hooked but will b alot more selective as for as health is concerned(will leave the wife at home).I voiced my concerns to her and told her how hard it would b to bring this thing back if not in good health to start with.
THNX again

I have found that over the years that Haddonis are fairly easy to keep -- IF you find a healthy one -- otherwise the odds are really against it making it. If it shows any signs of an open mouth at the LFS, pass on it, and ask how long they have had it -- they seem to look okay for the first couple of days after shipping, and then go down hill -- if they aren't going to make it.
