When was the "magnet clip" issue fixed on the Nanos?

I got 2 6055s from the first batch. Yesterday I was cleaning them, got them too close to one another and the magnets brought them together at an odd angle and both tabs on one side of the magnet snapped on both units. Did mine have the stronger replacment tabs or the original ones?

Any way to attach them until I can get replacements? Luckily I still had the 4 MJ1200s these replaced! =)

We are currently in the process of redesigning the holder, it will take a couple months. The problem with the current design is it is too succeptible to minor manufacturing deviations. If the machines do everything perfect they are drable but if it gets to hot or a tab is to thin it breaks. The current design is not very tolerant of normal deviations. I can replace the holder next week when more arrive if you send me a PM with an address. In the meantime I would use silicon or hot glue to attach the clip as both will peel off easily when the replacement arrives.

Those magnets will break off the new tabs too if allowed to snap together, not to mention blacken your fingernail, or even crack your tank.

So I learned!

Roger, no need to replace. Salty Critter is getting some replacements . Was my fault for not cleaning the seperately. Was just curious if I had to be more careful with the replacements than I was with the original.

The replacements should be stronger, the earliest clamps were overheated in molding and since we found out about that problem we have worked to resolve it.
