Getting close to the upgrade…finally🙄

Definitely was at least one Crocea and one Maxima…probably more😉

I have not been able to come across many "ideal specimens". I am in the Chicagoland Western suburbs. There used to be a place near me (near Indiana if I recall) called clamsdirect.com. I once picked up the most ideal Teardrop Maxima from Vietnam from an Anthony Calfo from Aquadesignz.com. These are old vendors from long ago, perhaps they still exist under different "monikers". Anyways, I would like to see some Facility to take on the initiative of optimizing the aqua-culturing process of T.Maxima (as always, first on my list), T.Crocea (of course next in line as optimal sellers for the blue and green coloration varieties) and someone to find one of those ever so rare blue T.Squamosa and figure out how to make it reproduce!

Anthony no longer has his store and Clams Direct is long gone. ORA is culturing clams but, good luck finding any over 1.5”. One of the Petco near me that has good SW system has ORA clams occasionally.

Saltwater Aquarium has clams on their farm that are larger.

Corals.com also gets in ORA and theirs are WYSIWYG.

There’s also Pacific East Aquaculture. They either own or have some link to a clam farm in Tahiti and can get in nice ones (though pricey).

There’s a guy who sells on social media by the name of Clam Mania. Based on many recent reviews, though his offerings are nice, it’s a 50/50 shot if he’ll actually ship it to you. So I’d likely stay away from him if you see his stuff

I've gotten clams from Clam Mania with no problems.
