No, he is around. I think RC flagged him as a commercial account and prohibited him from listing stuff for sale.
 
now he cant post or recieve messages. ive seen guys post alot of stuff for sale without being labeled commercial. i wonder what made him soooo special.
 
It certainly did not take long. I wonder if he became a sponser if they would let him? Maybe that would be too expensive.

I'm sure they would not have a problem letting anyone be a sponsor but it's like $500/mo or something. Was the guy a new local person trying to get started in sales? I noticed the DT's phyto "BOTTLES" for sale. When I listed a few TDS meters for sale in the sales forum I got my thread closed too. It is most likely because of multiple of the same items for sale. I thought it looked kind of "iffy" when he said I have this, this, this AND lots of other stuff.
 
Oh it was clear what he was doing. I just can not believe they found him so quick out of thousands of posts. A mod must have caught him.

Hey everyone, I was booted for posting a selling thread without being a member for 90 days and not having 50 posts. A reef central staff member , "mhurley" contacted me via Email, I sent him a reply and asked that he return my message. He still hasnt done-so. He turned off access to my mail and sending private messages. As for those of you who think I have a alot of live stock for such a small tank, maybe you should know I have 4 tanks set up and one tank alone has 25 fish in it, Main reason why I want to" THIN " my livestock. I can be reached at my e mail listed in my profile. Thanks

thats what I thought, But I did go overboard and list to many things, But i didnt know anybetter, I see others that post quite a bit of things for sale too.......
 
Just get on the large tank forum and post, " Nice" in every topic. Thats what a lot of people do to get their posts up :) . You definitly have to watch how you post on here. Some of the local stores are sponsors and they could take offense. That's just my objective opinion and RC does do a pretty good job at monitoring your type of post. I know we all perked an eybrow up when you posted. Sorry to hear it turned out like it did and I hope things work out for you. We did a have a club forum on the C-Sea site that would have been more appropriate for your post though. If the web site ever comes back up maybe that would be a good solution to your overstocked tanks.
