Where did my babies go?

I have a GSM & WSM pair, on their 4th clutch. I just dont get why I have not even seen 1 larvae! I mean over 600 eggs have hatched and i just dont see them. I have a 65 oceanic tall, with rbta, small sailfin and firefish.

Will that effect my RBTA? Should I turn it off the whole night? Will they go into the rocks and hide from the other fish?
yes i check hatch night-
Is there anyway to raise my babies in the main tank? If i get rid of all other predators? Will my blood or other shrimp eat them? What about a sailfin or firefish? thanks

1)The fry will not live in a reef tank. They will get sucked up and die theres nothing you can do about it.

2)GSM and WSM have very small larva and are very hard to see with out magnification of the larva. So thats probably why you dont see them.

You can place the tile anywhere, but it may or may not disrupt them from their spawning clock.
Make sure it wont fall on anything from current.

k, but i would guess that the closer to the previous laying site the better? They are a strong pair,- having mated within 2 months of putting them in the same tank. -
where are these good threads?

Yes placing it where the last spawn happend will increas your chances of them laying on the tile.Go to the fish breeding forum's and you will see many threads on breeding clownfish.

doing a good search and then asking less basic questions will yield far better responses. I know you're probably excited, but try looking at past threads before asking what most on here would consider mundane and basic.

So mundande and basic questions should not be asked? Also what are mundane and basic, thought this was a place to ask questions and learn from others.

Thanks Marina for clearing that up,didn't mean to for my post to sound negitive...just thought the post before mine sounded a little blunt.
