Where do i get a 9015 skimmer pump ???

I came home to find my skimmer not working. I took the pump apart and it looks like i will be better off buying a complete new pump. The part # i need is 9010.040. Does anyone know of the most reasonable priced place to get tunze parts? I just bought my 2nd tunze skimmer (9005) and love them!!!

How old is the skimmer? The pumps have a 2 year warranty.

I belive i have had it for about 2 1/2 years but i can not find my sales slip so im not positive.

Why do you think you need a whole pump and not just a motor 9010.015, the motor is much cheaper. The pumps have a date code, it is 3 numbers embossed in the plastic on the back below the label.

BTW, when it is plugged in, does it vibrate or make any effort to move, it could just be a bad drive unit.

When i took the pump apart it looked like the plastic on the motor block its self is melted. I would feel better having a new pump so i dont have to worry.

Well, I don't mean to badger you, you can certainly order a new one, it is part 9010.040 on tunze.com. You are welcome to send the old pump in though and maybe we can save you so money over a replacement-

Well...... I broke the plastic propeller off the drive unit when i was pulling it out. The drive unit was stuck in the motor. AND last night when i was sleeping my dog got to one of the plastic half round clips that hold the pump together and chewed it all up. With all this If you think you can save me some money over new and still have a good reliable pump that would be Great.

Sounds good. I will do that. Will you have an answer pretty quick after reciving? I would rather my skimmer not be down very long. Do i just send a paper with my contact info in the box?
