I need to tube feed my H. reidi, because he hasn't eaten in 3 days. I've done all of the homewoork, saw the You Tube videos and now I'm prepared to begin my Vet Residency. Where do I get the clove oil?

The health food store. You can also use Fin-Quel (MS222) as an anesthetic, but clove oil is fine and likely cheaper and more available.

The health food store? My wife told me about that (from home to my office) and I actually found one in the Children's Hospital about 5 blocks from work.

Went straight home and spent an hour prepping the food and seawater bowls. Phase 1, Day 1 of "Operation Hippocampus" is complete. He's still brething, but it's 50/50 at this point.

Question for the group: In the posts on Seahorse.org, I read that I'm supposed to use mysis, cod liver oil and spirulina (or spirulena).

How much cod liver oil? I found a jar with caplets that dissolve if a human eats them, so I cut off the top of two (3 mm long or so, about half the size of 1 piece of plain chocolate M&Ms) caplets. I used the mortar and pestle but it turned it a thick paste. Is there anything I can use that is good for the seahorse' digestive system that I will make it more watery?
