where do you dump your old water?

Any suggestions on where to safely dump water after a water change? My condo complex has lots of greenage that I don't want to kill. The sink or tub doesn't sound great either as i don't want to clog the system with aquarium detritus and sand...sounds like a stupid question but i want to make sure I am not pouring excess salt where it shouldn't be.

I pour mine down the sink. No sand in it.
I was pouring it out back, but killed a bush downstream.

My tank water must be less polluted than the water coming out of sewage and canals.
My concern is whether you could be introducing non-native algaes and organisms in that environment.

I boil mine, capture the evap, then drink it... but its bc i live on the streets since my tank eats all my $

but when i lived in a house i just flushed it, that way all the fishies in the sky have enough saltwater

That's not the concern, like Sean-T pointed out introducing non-native species can be a big concern. The Caulerpa taxifolia issues in California and the Mediteranean are perfect examples of why not to do this.

Anyhow, I use a python so it going down the drain in the basement sink.

If you are on a septic tank I would suggest not putting any extra water down your drains. This includes old salt water and waste water from a ro/di system.
