Where do you get the unusual clams

I don't by things cause they cost alot. I don't have alot in my tank. Usualy I look for deals, but I really love cleams. I have seen some very nice pics of your clams on here. I saw pics of some on a sponsors site, but they are always sold out. I can wait, but would like to know if there is a season for when they come in or what. I don't want to miss out.

the pic you linked to is a colored teardrop Maxima. they are wild collected, few and far between,have a high mortality rate and very difficult to keep.

i seggest you read up on clams befor you get any. heres some links.

yes read up on clams. If you are a beginner I would suggest starting off with a squamosa or a dersa. They don't need as much light as a maxima or crocea and are a little more easier to care for imo
