Where do you have you alk?

Folks over at zeovit forum stated alk should stay at or near 7 DHK to simulate NSW. I thought anywhere from 8-11 is fine.

I run zeo and I keep mine at 6.5dhk. Anything 8 and above would start burning the tip of sps. On regular tank 8-11 is great. Just keep it stable

run mine at 8.5 with the API test kit with boron in consideration already as i use seachem RS. Any higher and i find growth slows down for me and color doesnt hold.

I run mine between 10-11 Dkh with no problems (non-zeo). Why is it that zeo guys must keep a low alk?

8-9 over the years I've had more problems running my alk at 10 or above than consistently between 8 and 9nish below 10.

Again I if had one kit and one kit only to measure my tank it would be ALK.
Once a week when I'm lazy and twice a week when I'm on top of my tank.

Ok so running your alk at a range of 6.5 - 11 as long as its stable is ok? I try to keep mine at 8.5-9.0. What difference does it make unless you are running a ULNS? I know stability is key but do people expirience higher growth on a certain level?

I notice that my LPS, duncans and blastos look kinda shriveled when my alk is low. After I dose, or do a water change with higher alk they perk back up and look plump again. What do you guys think?

Hey is that a rottie in your avatar? I found a stray rottie/border collie in my gated community a couple of wks ago. Do they turn on their owners as people tell me theyre capable of doing so. Mine is very friendly and super hyper.

I prefer to keep it around 10 but it's been at 11 for a month now (weekly testing on Sat.)
