Where to buy mated percs?

In a week or so I would like to add a mated pair of true percula's.

Any recommendations on where to look for them?
The more the merrier.

Thanks,
Sean

I would start by looking on the Sponsors page first. If you cant find any from the sponsors then try the Want To Buy page and post there. Best of luck and hope you get a nice pair.

I would start in the WTB area and hope you run into someone looking to sell of a mated pair they have had for years, especially if you are looking to breed them.

Just my 2 cents and forgive me if I'm wrong, but I've read and heard that although a pair may have mated with a previous owner, they may not mate with a new owner; reason being that the environment or conditions to that environment have changed so that the clowns may not have to mate. But don't get me wrong, knowing that the percs mated before does give you a higher degree of certainty that they'll mate in your tank.

I would be cautious when buying "mated" true percs cuz people will just pair clowns and sell them as "mated" without having any history of the clowns breeding. I just don't want you to be suckered by some chump or have high expectations of the clowns you buy. But, I certainly hope you find what you're looking for and good luck.

isn't there a LFS near you that can sell you two small percula?

They still have that pair..they probably are still there because when you look closer the male looks like it has a damaged pectoral fin. It could just be a bad picture. I wonder if anyone else thinks it looks like it has a damaged fin?
Still the female is very lovely.

I doubt you will be gettin the fish in the pic, Don't waste your money. Try to mate the fish yourself, just make sure there are no other fish in the tank exept for your clowns.

A true marketeer would jack up the price and claim it was Nemo :>)
