where to buy these stinking pvc fittings....

i need 4 Elbow Fittings - 1 inch Slip x 1 inch MPT
and 2 1in gate valves....



i can only find them online, but i cannot find a store that sells them both........



anyone know of a place?
 
Did you try savko in Columbus? They have an online website. I am sure they could get you what you need a day or two.
 
are you wanting gate valves or globe valves? gate valves you will most likely have to buy on line...I was not able to find any locally when installing the gate valve mod on my skimmer...

as for slip elbows and globe valves...I bought mine at the Lowes in Strongsville...but I would think all Lowes carry pretty much the same stock...

I found that Lowes carries a MUCH better selection of PVC fittings than Home Depot...

Oh...I bought my gate valves at US Plastics in Lima...got the next day...

Actually I found Home Depot to be a better source then Lowes for me. Home Depot you can buy 2' sections of 1.5" PVC while lowes only sells them in 10' sections.
 
Most of the time, but I only needed 4' of 1.5" and those two small pieces would fit in the saddle bags of my Harley. I asked the guy at Lowes if I he could cut the 10' piece in 3 for me and he said no. So I handed him the fittings that I was holding and rode over to Home Depot and bought everything I needed for my return pump.

It was a nice day =) I couldn't resist riding the bike... Sure I could have took the SUV but I knew Home Depot sold pieces that would fit on the bike.
 
You could check with Menyhart Supply in cleveland (65th & lorain rd.)

i went to HD in strogsville yesterday, they didnt even have a 3/4 union in stock, ***?


savco doesnt sell gate valves

Wow thats pretty bad =( The Home Depot here in Mentor had all the unions and fittings I needed except for the gate valve =( Seems like you can only find those on the internet. =(
 
Oh...yes...the strongsville HD is the one that gives me the biggest headache! They never seem to have anything I am looking for!!
 
Active Plumbing Supply...I think they are in Willoughby...might be far but they carry almost everything you could need.


Needed a ball type check valve some time ago for tank project that I tried and abandoned about 12 years ago...but they were the only ones who had it...and in stock

sorry i said it backwards,

savco doesnt sell the 1in 90 slip x MPT

marinedepot sells them both, but their gate valves are SCH 80 and $20 a peice....

i guess ill have to order the 90's from marine depot and the gate valves from savco?
 
Lakeside supply,woodhill supply,active,welker mckee,Cleveland plumbing,US Plastics.com,savko,Graniger,MCmaster Carr lots of luck if the dont have it than they dont make it.
