Where to buy ...

Anyone know where I could find some Blue Anthelia, Blue Clove Polyps, or Purple Xenia? If anyone has any of the above they want to frag or can point me to a store in the area that sells for a reasonable price let me know. I would prefer not to buy online (I like to see what I'm getting), but if that's my only choice then that's what I'll do :)

If nobody has any of the above once it starts growing in my tank I'll be glad to frag and share. Thanks!

Hey Zach there are a few hard to find items I am thinking about ordering too. One being the Kaladascope Cloves. If youd like we will get together and order and split the shipping. Just an idea.

I just looked those up and those look awesome! Where are you thinking of ordering from? I would go in and split shipping.

Just a word on the blue clavularia. They are beautiful and grow pretty quick. The downside is that they also seem to jump around the tank and start popping up everywhere. I never had them kill anything (they are pretty small), but they did infiltrate a zoa colony of mine so that between all of the zoa polyps there were little blue cloves sticking up everywhere.

I think they'd be great as rock cover for an established softie tank (and I'd love to do this eventually), but probably not the best choice for other mixed reef kind of set-ups (IMO of course).

That's what I've heard, I like the way they look and can always trim back and give away to other folks who may want them. If you have some you wish to get rid of or sell, let me know. :D

Zach- If I still had them, I would offer some up (I started with a quarter sized frag and they multiplies by about 5-6x in 6 months). When I put my 270 in storage because of a recent move and a lack of space now, I had to significantly downsize and they just didn't quite make the cut.

Hopefully you can get the 270 up and going again! I was looking for a 180+ before I moved to upgrade, big tanks are awesome.

Once I get an online order together and mine grow enough to frag out, I'll stick up a post when it's time to weed, and if you want some let me know :) I think it would be awesome to have them as filler between colonies of other corals.

FYI I was at the jungle today and they have both blue athelia and blue clove polpys fir sale there. The blue athelia was 58 for a good size rock of it and tv blue clove was like 48 I think for a rock covered on it. Just thought I would let you know. Started to buy it my self and sell a couple of frags but decided against it
