I need a to refill my 5lb co2 tank. Is there anyplace close to butler blvd, Southside, jax beaches area? I fill at Tri tech welding supply off Phillips and university blvd. They are a rip off. Is there any place else that is close to me?

ANd don't Forget to set your clocks ahead tonight. Daylight savings is tomorrow

Maybe a paintball shop would do it for you? You could also try that place near McDuff and I-10 that sells dry ice. The name of the company escapes me at the moment. One other suggestion would be to call NuCO2 and see if they had the capability to do it.

Strate Welding and the dry ice place (that also fills) is across the street from Strate, but these are not near the JTB/Southside/Beaches area.

I'd like to know of a location in these areas too as I always fill at Strate welding, which is out of my way.

ya but its not worth the drive. I am going to continue to use tri tech welding supply at university and phillips hwy. I wish LFS would supply co2

every other month. 5lb tank. Tri tech wont exchange 10lb tanks or larger. Its a real crappy welders supply store too. They want 50% mark up on their miller tig welders too. I have seen them much cheaper online and at welding supply stores down south. Its costs 18 bucks to fill a 5lb tank

Every other month? That sounds like you are using way to much
or your loosing it from a leak. A 5lb. bottle should last about 6 months with a normal drip rate.

That would be worth it, you know for the 12 people in NE Florida with Calcium Reactors.

5lb every two months is indicative of something very wrong. Either you are leaking CO2 or have your reactor setup wrong. Reactors are cheaper to run than additives, unless you have a 60 day CO2 turnaround.

c'mon now it's 13.....:lolspin:

plus you wont have to restock too often. You don't have to feed Co2 or give it love and attention either. You can also use it on your own reactors

If you dont think its worth it you might be doing something wrong. When operated correctly reactors cant be beat:fun4: :fun4:
