Which AI to choose?

I'm starting up a 28 gallon Deep Blue rimless SPS tank (20x20x16) and am struggling to choose a light. I love how controllable the AI's are so I'd like to stick with this line. As mentioned, I'm doing all SPS and a few clams. I can get a very sweet deal on the AI Prime, but am thinking that this may not be enough lighting. Should I look into the AI Prime HD or the AI Hydra 26?

For full sps n clams you should go with the 52hd
For los softie the prime or 26 fine

For those dimensions, a single hydra 26 HD would be fine, IMO.

Definitely not the prime. At minimum the 26 HD.

I have two Prime HD on a 40 breeder. I just got them a few weeks ago so I haven't had a chance to evaluate their performance. I Like viewing the tank from the top down so the small form factor is perfect for me.

2 prime would be more than enough. I torched too many sps trying to adjust these primes on frags coming from big MH tanks. Start low and slow and use acclimate. I placed my lights slightly towards the outside and slightly turned in. that covers the whole tank and reduced my shadowing significantly.

Going with the Hydra 26 HD - now just need to find a good used one (or buy a new one).
