Which anemone?

I recently had my tank wiped out by an ex and am in the process of rebuilding. I had success keeping a beautiful huge Magnifica and a pair of mated Perculas. The tank is a 120 with MP 40s, dual 250 watt DE halides, and a large skimmer. The Magnifica thrived except he was too mobile, those guys are always looking for the best light and flow. I would like to feel sure an anemone isn't going run over my nice SPS that I will be growing. Anyway I am looking for opinions on an anemone that prefers the sand like a LTA or Malu. Also interested in suggestions on a pair of non-Nemo clowns that enjoy said anemone. Thanks for the input!

DD/LA almost always has nice-looking LTAs for sale, and I hear nothing but good reviews for them. Never bought an anemone from them but I can vouch for their fish, corals, and in sets, as well as their customer service.

A nice pair of pink skunks would look good in a LTA, and it's also one of their natural hosts.

If you are up to it and can get healthy anemones, nothing beat a Gigantea. Magnifica is a close second. Malu and Hadonni tied for third.
See my album for the pictures of some of my anemones.

I like the carpet anemones but am concerned about their reputation for making a meal of the smaller fish in the tank. Is this common behavior?

My carpet anemone has eaten bottom dwelling fish that go to rest on it. I have never had it eat any of my other fish.

I have a haddon. I had to start an anemone exile tank. You won't be able to keep any other fish unless your tank is very big and the fish is very smart. Otherwise when you bring a newbie home from the LFS, its anemone food in less than a week.
