Which Anthias for a school in 120gallon

I recently aquired 3 lyretail anthias, they are great looking fish if you don't have any orange colored fish already. I have 3 other orange fish so with the anthias it's a little too much orange in my tank and I probably should of gone with the bright pink bartletts. None the less the anthias are still awesome and I don't regret it.

One thing though with these guys is they seem to not like pellets. So feed allot at once because they might never like the pellets out of an autofeeder.

I didn't know that about the Bangaii's! I thought they were some of the most peaceful fish. Shopping and planning for fish is tough lol.

Not at all. What I've learned is that all fish may be peaceful but only if their territory isn't encroached upon. My bangaii cardinal goes after any fish in my tank if it's in his spot and makes this loud clicking noise, even goes after my 2 much bigger then him tangs. I even had my firefish kill my royal gramma because the gramma was going in its cave constantly. With this hobby nothing is 100 percent.

What did you end up going with, Alicia?

I still don't know! It's killing me. My clowns started spawning so I've been derailed. I am hesitant to put more fish in and make them uncomfortable. I mean, I've been waiting for them to get busy for 3 years! I was thinking about doing 1 male and 2 females and 2 dragonets instead of a school of 5 or 6. Just doesn't sound like getting that many has much hope.

My husband really really wants the Sunburts/Fathead Anthias, but I'm still very much undecided. I do think I'm leaning towards Lyrtails rather than the Sunbursts. I like the different body shape in the tank and the Sunburst seem to look a lot like the shape of the Chromis.

Curious...what other fish are in the tank? I had a Sunburst and it was constantly bullied by my other fish. They are very shy and tend to stay in one spot, meaning they aren't really open water swimmers like other anthias. I eventually pulled it because its fins were shredded and gave it to a friend. Good luck! My clownfish also just started spawning after 3 years of "togetherness".
