Hey guys ,
I'm extreemly tired of the TV interference from My 400w blueline . I've grounded changed wires now I just want something else . I like the way it performs so what is the equal in mag ballast ? I want to get about the same color from the bulbs . And would like it to be able run these bulbs , radium , CV and or XM . Incase I change my mind on which bulb I like best .
Thanks ,
Joe

I just intalled three ea 400watt electronic blueline ballast, and I am also getting interference on some cable channels.

Hi Joefish,

Have you tried installing filters on the TV? I have eliminated TV interferance caused by IceCap VHO ballasts with plug-n-play filters by X10/Leviton.

I'm sure Jeremy will follow up with the ballast/bulb recommendation.

Hey Joe,

The e-bal is pretty unique in respect to an electronic ballast. It is the only electronic that I know of that actually does not underdrive a lamp. The ballast pushes lamps inbetween what a standard (M59), and an HQI (Son Agro 430) would run them at. If sticking to mainly a Radium or CV go with the HQI. The Radium looks really nice on an HQI, and the CV light output on the HQI is just awesome. For the XM the standard is fine, and it doesn't do much for the lamp when running on an HQI.
