Which Dwarf Angel would you pick for a trio in a 90 gal?

Typically, but mine is not. I don't think you can do trios in all honesty. I made the mistake of putting a potters with him in an old tank and he killed it.

I would go with the flames. They are absolutely a beautiful angel.

Flames are pretty. I've got a coral beauty in my mixed reef which is one of my favorite fish. Lots of personality and very active.

Tree of the same species won't tear one another apart , they will establish a pecking order. I have kept them in the past with no ill effects
