Typically, but mine is not. I don't think you can do trios in all honesty. I made the mistake of putting a potters with him in an old tank and he killed it.

Potters for me. I'm not sure where the difficulty comes from. I've kept multiple individuals for several years. My favorite dish by far and have all been pretty good reef citizens
