Which fish can stand each other?

I have a question that I don't think I've found an official answer to yet.
Can 2 seperate species of lionfish successfully cohabitate? Such as a Fu Man Chu and a Volitan? Or can certain species cohabitate with certain other species or species of their own kind? I have the same question about Triggerfish. Could a Picasso live with a Niger for example? Does it all depend on tank size?
Any information, threads or websites you could point me to would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard of people keeping triggers together, but usually it is more experienced trigger keepers and larger tanks. The fish only forum would be good place to get specifics from people who have done it.
