I have a friend who has a clown goby in his tank. It's a tiny little fish, but I think I see it more than any other fish in his tank, because it's always out.

I know the temperament of fish will depend on their tankmates and will vary between individuals, but I am curious... which fish do you see most in your tank? Which are always hiding?

My large Naso Blonde is always out. In fact he follows me when i walk past the tank, will eat nori from my hand, even let me pet him. Bold yet very docile fish. The runner-up would have to be my mystery wrasse, which is unusual for this fish, but mine is out most of the time.

Haha! Your Naso sounds like a dog. How long have you had it?

Hands down my Bandit angel. It is always out in the open and will swim up to your hand I am cleaning the tank. Awesome personality.

Clownfish, melunuras wrasse, dwarf angel (C. argi) all seem to be out about the same amount. The only fish I really have that hide is my yasha goby and possum wrasse, the other yellow wrasse and chalk bass seem to be out all the time too.

My sohal is always swimming around, He never really stops. He go's spazz when i come near the tank begging to be fed. That fish needs some ritalin!
The second is my scribbled because he is hard to miss. He is the king of the tank, and swims around like he is the only fish in there.

I have one green chromis that swims directly directly infront of my tunze powerhead aslong as the lights are on!! only moves to eat and to hide when the lights go out.
It looks like he is on a constant treadmill...!!

I see my heniochus and clowns all the time. It does not sleep in a hidden area. It just swims back and forth. Yellow tang, flame and coral beauty andgels comes out when the lights are out. Blue hippo tang hides a lot but comes out to play every so often. Bicolor blenny is always in the hole and only comes out when it's time to eat.

my emporer angel, he's quite tame. hes always still cruising the tank long after all the other fish have turned in for the night .
