Which Fish to become my "Main" Fish?

I'm upgrading my tank in the coming weeks (I'll post all about it on a new thread) and I'll be putting in my 2 Ocellaris Clowns, 2 Banggai Cardinal, and my Lawnmower Blenny, as well as a clean up crew...
I want to add just one more fish, I was thinking a Dwarf Angel but I don't like the fact that they can nip at corals. So is there any other fish that is as eye catching as the angels that you would recommend for a 33 gallon tank?

I'd say that with the 5 fish you have now, you are already well stocked for a 33 gallon honestly. With three of them being on the aggressive side as it is, you would be hard pressed to find a fish that would do well IMO.

If you added a smaller blenny, it could give you more options. And there are some tiny gobies like Trimma spp. that are nominal in terms of space needs and bioload. Also, the smaller clown gobies.

If you're upgrading, how about a 40 breeder instead. You'd have a lot more options IMO.

I suppose I could trade in my blenny for a smaller goby, but only if this allowed me to get one more fish in the tank.
I've already ordered my 33gal, so can't go any bigger :/ this tanks only while I live with my parents, Im planning on getting a much bigger tank once I have my own place (hopefully in a year or two).

Ok I've scrapped the idea of an angel all together, non off them can be trusted with corals... So now I'm stuck with choosing between a Royal Gramma or Fire/Dart Fish.

grammas can run the be either aggressive or hide all of the time the same with the firefish(the hiding part) I suggest moving to at least a 55.

Helfrichis Firefish...small, always in view, a little on the pricy side effects compared to the regular purple, but IMO the coloring is so much more vibrant..truly a beautiful nano tank fish

We have a pair of helfrichis in our 205g, I love them. The coloring once they are established and comfortable in your tank gets even more vibrant.

It would be fine. Midas are more active swimmers and tend to stay mid to upper level. Lawn mower blennies tend to stick to the rocks. O I've seen wit a few videos on YouTube that had Midas along with other blennies. But then again it is up to the fish. But I would try it.

I've been looking at videos, and doing research about the Midas, and its a really awesome fish! The more I look at it, the more I want it! I've never seen these in my LFS, so I don't know where to get one from...

My midas is great - very active and looks like a mini eel swimming through the tank. Not too hard to come by so check with your LFS about ordering. Online is an option but then you incur added $ for shipping. Good luck.

OP is in the UK, so a little harder to come by compared to the US ;)

All the online shops I know off are always sold out of these guys :/ I've been looking at wrasses to, and they are really cool looking fish! Arhh there's so many to choose from, lol. I still have plenty off time to decide anyway, still haven't started my set up.
